Lee Bennett Sobel's feature film directorial debut ROCKABILLY VAMPIRE is a 90-minute movie released Halloween, 2001 by Troma Entertainment, produced on a budget of less than $15,000. Shot on 16mm film in 10 days on the streets of New York City’s East Village, the movie’s rockin’ soundtrack is chock full of today’s hottest rockabilly bands.

In ROCKABILLY VAMPIRE, Iris M. Daugherty (Margaret Lancaster) is a rockabilly gal who meets a young Elvis lookalike named Eddie Vincent (Paul Stevenson) only to discover that he is in fact a vampire who was bitten in 1956 and has been searching for a cure ever since. In case you didn’t guess, it’s a comedy!

The collector’s edition DVD contains the director’s commentary, music performances of songs from the soundtrack, and Lee Bennett Sobel's earlier 45 minute movie, the lesbian action comedy BLOND FURY.
